Fresh food, fresh identity

Wholesome. Home-made. Fresh and fun. Those were the ingredients the team at Blanche Eatery gave us when they asked us to create a visual identity for their new stores. So we devised an identity that mirrored the food offer – from the typography to the tone of the voice.

Blanche’s fundamental credo states that lunch should no longer be about predictable sandwiches and limp salads. Instead, it should be enjoyable, with a wide-ranging, ever-changing menu using fresh, quality ingredients. Food that tastes so good, it should be bad…

So we put the ingredients on show, as part of the backdrop – though with highly disciplined use of colour. We complimented that with full-colour photos of the mouthwatering dishes. The language is humorous, food-focused and approachable – just like the staff. And the core proposition? It’s a good mix.

Then we rolled the identity out across every channel: menus and packaging, a new website (with online ordering system) and the branded, in-store environment.
